Sunset

Am I supposed to think that there's more beyond this sunset? That although I'm sitting in its golden rays that I'll find anything and everything? That I'll find even YOU?

And, for a moment I'd feel your hand entwined in my own for a moment I'd think you were really there - not beyond this sunset, not beyond today, but right there - beside me

And sometimes I have this feeling that someday I'll wake up from this daydream and find you beside me, your head on my shoulder

And although we sit under the same sun We could never be farther apart - I could gaze into the golden sea imagining your beautiful face resting on my shoulder somehow feeling your head on my shoulder seeing your bright eyes gaze back into my own

wondering what's beyond this SUNSET
