Could I capture such a PERSONALITY as yours in mere COLORS??

Is LIFE really a canvas??

How can PAINT illustrate that which I STRUGGLE to depict in music??

Do I DESPAIR at the easel as I do at the PIANO??

My life is not a CANVAS to be painted upon nor a PAPER to be drawn over

Your life is not meant to be captured in a SINGLE moment, scattered with such mundane HUES

But... I CAN sketch the most important part of me, and pour your smiling face from a BRUSH

And see that preserved within SHADES you will never be FOROTTEN

Knowing that in your BEAUTIFUL eyes I could capture a loving reflection of ME
